Clear and proactive communication with families has never been more important, which is why AllHere is launching the Leadership in School-Family Communication Program. This initiative was created to build leadership and family engagement skills in school districts across the country so they can use effective strategies and best practices, identify areas of growth for continuous improvement, and create a roadmap for moving forward in this complex area. This program will bring together principals, superintendents, and critical communication and family engagement team members from across the country. Participants are encouraged to attend as a team of four (one superintendent, one communications team member, one principal, one family engagement team member), but individuals can also benefit.
The workshop series will feature three learning modules each focused on a critical area of communication between schools and families. Grab a colleague and sign up for an hour and a half of complimentary professional development, offered on three different dates.
Learn how COVID-19 has strengthened the role of families as co-creators of their children’s education and how to build authentic partnerships with families using the U.S. Department of Education’s Dual Capacity Building framework.
